Production facility
All Proviad feed additives are manufactured in a dedicated production facility in Treize Vents, Vendée 
(France). The Treize Vents plant is already operating for many years within the Provimi Group for the production of high quality veterinary products and liquid nutritional supplements. The plant has a long practice in working under the highest
sanitary regimes and quality systems.
Therefore, it is not surprisingly that the production of the Proviad feed additives is done under FAMI QS and ISO 9001 certification. These certificates prove the accuracy and efficient way of production in Treize Vents, which is the first French feed additive plant with both certificates.
The FAMI QS certification was established by the European feed additive industry. It is a code of good manufacturing practices that is recognized, for example, by the Dutch PDV. 
HACCP is one of the main important bases for FAMI QS. An independent Certification Agency, BVQI, has delivered this certification. The Proviad plant in Treize Vents is one of the first European plants to receive this certificate.
The Treize Vents plant produces several types of products, mainly acidifiers and the more technological feed additives based on essential oils. It uses special technologies in order to handle and preserve stable essential products, thus guarantying optimum efficacy in the complete feed. Recent work conducted in partnership with TNO has proven the efficiency of that technology and the high stability of Proviad products.
